If Hitler had concentrated bombing on the airfields instead of switching to the East End the outcome could have been very different. Of course, we could have joined Germany and attacked America.....

Germany, like ISIS, want to inflict their way of life on everyone. Germany is far more dangerous. At least while there is a full frontal attack you know your enemy. Germany wants full control of Europe and is getting it via the back door. Look at the misery inflicted on Greece. Monetary policy has always been set for German benefit.

Wrong, wronger and even wronger. Stop reading the Daily Xenophobic
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Better than lurching towards Corbyn. Socialists are only happy until they've run out of other people's money.

I tried using a £100 note in a Tesco in Winchester once. Tannoy announcement 'Assistance on till 3 please!' Whilst they spent the next five minutes debating whether they could accept it.

I think postage stamps are supposed to be legal tender too. But good luck trying to pay for a pint of milk with a book of first class stamps.

Stores are not obliged to accept £100 notes in the same way that they don't have to (but may chose to) accept stamps, which themselves are not classed as legal tender.

Legal tender (Sterling notes and coins) simply means that it cannot be refused as payment for a court-ordered debt payment.

Nick Robinson's first programme on the UK joining the EU was very good.

Sets out a lot of history from WW2, to the formation of the EEC and EU:

BBC iPlayer - Europe: Them or Us

As for most Germans opposed to Brexit. Of course, mainland Europeans are largely in favour of the status quo.

Personally I find the whole thing highly undemocratic and unfair, which is why I am voting to leave.

Germany want us in as one of the main contributors. Take us out and they've really only got France to lean on for financial support.

The levels of ignorance here peak so many levels I'll just pick one statement. Don't you think the Greeks have no one to blame but themselves? Spending money they never had? A bit like the UK today? Spending money we don't have or is not ours? Socialism gone mad. The culture of expectance from the top. What happens when other stop lending us money? The out vote could be the trigger.

The Greeks cannot afford to pay their mortgage by quite a margin; we can, by and large.
