I admire the humanity of the Greek people helping the refugees, when they themselves have so little.

Greece should never of joined the Euro, it did not pass the economic tests.

Oh hang on, none of the countries in the Euro passed the economic tests.

    What a joke!

My goodness. The UK is spending other peoples money at a national level we can't afford to pay back. How can you not see that? We're splurging cash that's not ours with only bankrupt policies in attempts to reduce it. This is socialism. The scary part is you believe it conservatism.

The Greeks are to blame too. They should never have been admitted. How anyone thought the Euro could work is beyond me. Oh wait. They assumed that it would force the Greeks to accept loss of sovereignty.

I agree strongly about the UK. Immigration and rising house prices are all that is holding the economy up. Interesting you call it socialism gone made when most of the problems have been caused by the UK voting to stay in the Common Market which turned into the EU without a vote. Countries which voted against the EU were asked to vote until they agreed to stay. Which is what will happen if the UK votes to leave(which it will not).

And leave out the petty insults. I am entitled to my opinion. Its a bit like people being called racist when they are anti immigration.

I have advised my children to leave the UK and I intend to do so at some point. The whole of Western Europe is stuffed.....

The UK can default by stealth. Or inflate the debt away. Those stupid foreigners will find they own a few worthless pieces of paper.

Iceland went bust and was borrowing again a couple of years later.

I now await a few people to start hurling childish insults instead of facts. I suppose it could be worse. It could be doodlebugs.....

I still don't know why when the Government found most of the debt was disguised Toxic debt they didn't just cancel it and imprison anyone who was involved in perpetrating the fraud.

Combine that with sending a few bankers to prison for the various illegal things they were up to.

we would be out of it by now.
