I think Cameron was somewhat disingenuous about Boris having an ulterior motive regarding wanting to be party leader...
I have little doubt that Cameron will have his eye on the future with a lucrative role in Brussels as the prize for keeping the UK in the EU after he stands down.Comment

Good straw man answer, but to decide to remove your democracy without asking you doesn't compareOriginally posted by darmstadt View PostWere you asked about joining NATO, the United Nations, the Western European Union, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the Council of Europe, the IMF, the Commonwealth, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, etc.?Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

What democracy would that be? The cabal of sitting slithy toads who do whatever big business wants of them? The majority of your elected representatives care as much about you as they care about collecting used toilet paper. I'm still trying to work out what democracy they actually removed from you...Originally posted by MicrosoftBob View PostGood straw man answer, but to decide to remove your democracy without asking you doesn't compare“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

I have this suspicion too. I have always said at some point you will see Camoron and Bliar both holidaying together on some trillionaire's hyper yacht that costs more than a countries GDP. Both laughing and sipping cocktails.Originally posted by ShandyDrinker View PostI think Cameron was somewhat disingenuous about Boris having an ulterior motive regarding wanting to be party leader...

What on earth would he want to do that for? All it will give him is grief. Much better for him that he goes on the lecture circuit and earns millions.Originally posted by ShandyDrinker View PostI have little doubt that Cameron will have his eye on the future with a lucrative role in BrusselsComment
