Although no big fan of Blair, he seems to be positively charismatic in comparison to Cameron who always seems to come across as somewhat smarmy hence I wonder whether he'd be able to pull off the milking the lecture circuit. Let's be clear, Cameron and the Conservatives benefitted from a woeful opposition against Brown & subsequently Miliband, not because they were necessarily any good.
Unfortunately politics in general is suffering from every bugger having tried to occupy the centre ground over the last few elections. We could do with some plausible alternatives.Comment
