7. If you get canned because of budget cuts or a cancelled project, keep your head and be civil. Often you'll be called back when a new budget is approved.
8. Go on social/drinking nights out. Popular people get renewals. Miserable dullards don't.
9. Don't become an argumentative gobtulipe because you know best. Remember, you are aiming for a lots of renewals and rate increases. No one like a smart arse loud mouth.
10. Don't be scared to sell yourself at renewal time, clients generally don't just hand out rate increases, you need to justify them without sounding like a mercenary.Comment
