I ordered a 2nd one yesterday from Amazon for ~8 quid. All you need is some nice coffee and boom its sets you up for the day

I used to have a one-cup cafetiere, this gadget seems like it could either be wonderful or a gimmick.

Presumably you drink your coffee black, although this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bodum-Travel.../dp/B0044CP25I) says you can add milk while it brews (hmm).

The ones I've used you just add the milk after you have pushed the coffee to the bottom, with the plunger.
You should never add milk to coffee while it brews, that's just wrong.

+1 Had one for years and just bought a new one to replace it after the filter finally started to get holes in it.

Works brilliantly and goes on every gig with me. As long as the client has boiling water available you can get fresh coffee whenever you want it.
