Why are you wasting your time on a piddly £50 million? You should be playing for $700 million.
Yeah, that's just amazing. That's getting into "struggle to spend it" territory.
I'd be happy with just the 50 .Heck even a solitary million would be nice - not enough to retire on but enough to allow early retirement if invested wisely.
Apparently you do not get it all at once but spread over 29 years.
And you pay tax in it too.

You can choose whether to take a lower lump sum or the annuity. I read something the other day arguing that it's best to take the cash, as the annuity providers could legally renege on you a few years down the line. I think the lump sum would work out to something over $400million, and still be well over $200million after tax
