He won't be a PM now, that's the whole point. Punish the scumbag who betrayed reasonable expectations of pro-business voters who were lied to and duped into voting for him.

If he got any sense left he'd be forced to start cutting taxes and not in 2015, because when Komrade Korbyn gets landslide in May 2015 he can actually reduce taxes for many fairly easily and take credit.

      Yes, seriously, a socialist.

If you are surprised by this result you have your finger very far from the pulse of a huge swelling in society that are sick of this plutocratic Tory banker elite.

      He will get in.

I had a theory that the reason he was front-runner was that the other candidates split the vote; people on the left had only one candidate to vote for, but those on the centre-right had a choice of three. That theory is now firmly falsified by the fact that he comfortably got more votes than the others combined. A higher level of support than Blair enjoyed, albeit under a updated voting system.

My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

Their salaries only increased in the rate of real inflation - includes crazy UK personal taxes, real estate, private school education, Chelsea tractor for wifey etc.

Essentially CEOs union managed to get them maybe slightly inflation busting pay rises for their unique skills.

I really cannot see that happening.

Think Labour have just consigned themselves to being politically irrelevant for the next 10 years.

But who knows. We'll see how the next 5 years play out.
