Korbyn will win next elections with a landslide. Chances are bookies will pay out on such bet already in 2019 or even 2017.

There is only one thing Osborne can do to stop it - cut taxes proper for a lot of people no later than 2017.

Think Labour have just consigned themselves to being politically irrelevant for the next 10 years.

But who knows. We'll see how the next 5 years play out.
The Tories may split with the euro vote, labour might split too. 5 years of austerity, a global crash and housing market collapse, let's see where we get.

How can you possibly think that?

Do you think that the majority of the UK population will support his stance on NATO membership - that we withdraw?

His economics are about "redistribution" - tax "rich" people more. Something that sounds great as long as you aren't "rich".

He is out of step with the current mood on immigration ( my reading of his policies is that he is "Pro" ) and the current mood of the country on cutting benefits.

I can see why he appeals to the socialists but I reckon he'll be gone in 24 months.

Elections are won from the centre ground in the UK. Not from the far Left or far Right. Labour have just vacated the battlefield.

At the next GE he'll be a couple of days short of his 71st birthday. Don't see the British Public going for that

And how long do you think it will be before Diane Abbott puts both her feet in it.

Then there will be an emboldened Trade Union movement striking for purely political purposes, the General Public will get thoroughly fed up of that fairly PDQ.

More chance of Nigel Farage being the next PM than Corbyn!!!

He'll say he will put it on referendum and will abide by its result.

By 2020 his socialist policies will appeal to a lot many people, including ex-Con voters like myself - tory scum (specifically Osborne) in Govt deserves to get it after they lied in last election.

In fact last time Miliband lost because he was a numpty Tory-light option, anybody else would have won it, never mind in 2020 by which cuts will take real bite, Corbyn will PM barring any sudden health issues.

He has his own views and agenda, but also wants the party to have a strong say it policy.

There will be a softening of his more extreme policies, and that will make him even more attractive.

There is plenty he believes in I disagree with, but damn it's refreshing to have someone with proper views and opinions. This is good for democracy.

The best part is how he got elected - not even by the unions, but by grassroots, that's very important and it tulip scared fookers from Parliamentary Labour Party, many of whom I hope will be deselected in next election - by pressure from grass roots, that's what Corbyn needs to do - selection of MPs only via grass roots voting.

The best part - Osborne can't call snap election now that Parliament terms are fixed, some poor LibDem chap is drinking to that right now

Or he could die tragically just before the election and the public will vote for his successor en mass...

Frankly, any Tory voter should welcome Korbyn - he would force (I hope) fookers in Govt to cut taxes proper well before election in 2020, not some token few pennies given with one hand and many pounds taken by another, no - proper tax cuts, to show the REAL DIFFERENCE between parties, and if they don't do it then they can fook off back to Eton.

Politics has just changed massively and people need to pay attention to the unprecedented support he's getting. People have had enough of austerity and bailouts, constant war and terrorist threat and same old politicians just reading off their auto-cues.

People want change and he's the only one offering it. Not only that but he's got a track record of staying true to his beliefs throughout the decades. He's also conducted himself very well throughout the campaign - people appreciate his straight talk that speaks to them.

Contrast this with CMD who said what he said about people from Yorkshire when he thought his mike was turned off, cutting back on renewable energy and forcing fracking on us, blindly following US foreign policy just like Tony Blair did...

Enough is enough - all this 'communist' and back to the 70's stuff belongs in the daily mail.

Just got this email from Jezza, PMQ's are going to be good from now on. Move over X factor and Big brother

                      Dear ,

It is a deep honour to be elected as our party's new leader. The honour is not about holding office - it is about the opportunity to serve each and every one one of you in the fight to get a better government for our country.

I want to pay tribute to Andy, Yvette and Liz. As the last few weeks have shown, each of them cares passionately about our party and its values and has made a fantastic contribution to it.

If you voted for me, thank you for putting your faith in me. If you didn't vote for me, I hope I will win your trust and support in the coming months. Whoever you supported, we must come together to serve the millions of people who desperately need a Labour government.

The Labour Party is the joint endeavour of each and every one of us. I want to use your talents to make us stronger, and I want to represent you.

So, help me be your representative. When I stand at the despatch box for Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday, I want to be your voice.

What do you want to ask David Cameron? Tell me now and I will put your questions to him in parliament. My questions will be your questions
                      .

*link removed - but feel free to say what you would want CMJ to ask CMD in PMQs*

Let's hold this government to account together with straight-talking, honest politics.

Thank you for your commitment to building a better future. I look forward to working with you.

                      Best wishes,

                      Jeremy Corbyn
Sneer away - it won't make any difference. In fact the more sneering from Tories, Blairites and Murdoch press just drives more people to Corbyn - haven't you worked that out yet?
