Even if that were true, that's quite a lot of people... but he could also make big inroads into the Green vote and SNP.

Exactly ! Well said AtW, across the country people like you, hard working and intelligent are suddenly very excited about the future with Corbyn as leader. He will power his way to Labour leadership and then hammer the Tories in 2020 if not before.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !

The new ones haven't been used before

Nationalisation used to work quite well and DOES work well in lots of countries. Some infrastructure is fundamentally not profitable.

He will obviously not reveal all his policies, dont want Tories to steal the ideas. But even if his policies havent worked before, he will make them work. With the country behind him, he will ensure that at last the policies of the state will reach the common man and will benefit the man on the street.

Quite it's working very well in Venezuela
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I had included them. The infiltrators into the labour party in recent weeks were mostly greens

It worked pretty well for East Coast Trains after National Express walked away from it

However the Govt. just gave it to Virgin so I expect it to head straight back into making a "loss" pretty sharpish.

Corbyn will make deal with SNP to share power after win - this is how he'll get back Scotland, that's already big part of the job done.

He'll then appeal to England and say - why shouldn't socialism exist only in Scotland? England can get it too!

Why can't greens or ex-Tories like me vote for him?

The whole point is to win extra votes from those who supported other parties - particularly Tories actually.

It looks like Liebor leadership wants to stick him up by rejecting lots of votes - I think he'll still win, and if he does not then it will split the party for sure - can't see anything less than judicial review of every single rejected vote compared with whether it could have changed the outcome.

"Used" to work? of course it did in countries where the state was the only provider of such services. Even the EU insist that member states do not run their own infrastructure.

I cannot believe you have tried to use that argument. It is like saying that companies used to use "manual systems" before technology was introduced and that they "used" to work.
