I'm sure it will be great consolation to the person who buys a new Mac and finds they now have to run Windows 8, that it's the hardware not the OS.
Well if they hadn't bothered to check the thing they were buying would actually do what they wanted it to do it's pretty much their own fault. Like buying a cheap Windows laptop and being dissapointed it won't let you run multiple VM's on it.

Why would you buy new hardware and want to run an antiquated operating system on it?
Oh, of course, otherwise you'd have to run Windows 8 which is completely unusable
The whole point of BootCamp is to make Macs usable/useful to people in IT (or in general really)... and they use Windows7, the most widely used version of Windows. And hardly antiquated.

The point of Bootcamp is to allow the companies that are too lazy to make a OSX version of their software
If you want Windows, but a wintel machine, if you buy a Mac, use it as a Mac! I use a Mac, and the only piece of software I have not found a way to get working on Mac, or a suitable alternative is vCentre, and thats because they are moving to a web based application (although ClientCo refused to use it)

I want my account deleted and all of my information removed, I want to invoke my right to be forgotten.

They could always buy a windows machine run hyper V and run whatever operating systems they want on top even OS X, rather than run the Windows version Apple will allow them to
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
