Hate to say it, but not ever having had to do diagrams and being a Machead, I tried Omnigraffle and found it useless whereas the same with Visio I was banging out pointless network/DR/Environment designs for management in no time.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostOmniGraffle (thanks to Cojak for that tip)

+1. Omnigraffle compares fine against Visio 2007 against Visio 2013 it has an awful lot to improve... Lucid Chart is worth a look. Free version limits the number of objects you can use but is enough to decide if it's what you need.Originally posted by eek View PostWhat's a decent visio replacement?

Saying that, I dont do hugely copmplex diagrams, just soem basic flow charts and architecture diagrams but it works nicely for me.
