I don't agree with imposing Western ideals on others either. Societies can never be changed by outsiders, only time can do that.

I did not mention Islamic states as things we should try to change, simply to illustrate what we have in store if we allow the Muslim population to grow in the West and don't tackle Islamism. We certainly have every right to defend our own traditions. One of which is tolerance, some would say, but tolerance has to go both ways. So how do you propose to stop people converting to a religion?

Christianity has some very famous quite recent examples of warmongers including converts.

I also don't think the tradition selling weapons to dodgy governments to use on their own populations is one we want to keep.
