Would this be the first well-publicised time someone who has been retaliated against by Muslims over a cartoon/etc has continued on the 'attack' with public support?
I'm not sure if this will be seen as a great idea, my fear is we'll be back in the bad old days when the IRA was active. There are rather a lot of extreme Muslims.

There are also a lot of people who consider themselves extreme 'Judeo-Christian' although they're not really and we have to be careful about them as they're the ones who will, and in fact already have, retaliate using the same tools and arguments as the people they're against...
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
...I bought a copy of the Satanic Verses back when they were trying to kill him ...
I did that, but I regretted it because it wasn't very good.
(The Satanic verses are verses that Mohammed apparently had given to him, that he later discovered where actually not from the angel, but from Satan, and so are omitted from the Koran. Rushdie speculated that maybe Mohammed mixed them up - so the verses that were excluded may have been really from Allah, and those that now make up the Koran are, in fact, Satanic).

I know you're from Germany but the Salvation Army isn't a real army. Sleep easy.
