You want a repudiation of free movement of labour? Fine.

There's a price to pay for that, and that outweighs the supposed benefits. The price is that you also have to repudiate free movement of goods and services.

Are you prepared to pay that price? I'm not.
why is the price for managing immigration losing trade?

oh yes because the EU says so, its not willing to discuss it and so people hate the EU. Many people see the price of telling the EU to get stuffed is that we will buy less from them and thinking well we could buy it cheaper from India or China anyway.

The balance of trade is in the EU's favour so they are welcome to cut off their nose to spite their face if they wish.

Why? And when you say services do you mean these? We’re not the bad boys of Europe – just ask our ski instructors - Telegraph

Foreign trade is not just about numbers, it's also about reputation.

If Britain leaves the EU only on the ground of immigration, it will be seen as a racist and bigoted country and this will hit our exports.

Thinking that you can get away with trading with Europe altogether is nonsense. Just see what is happening with EU sanctions against Russia: it's damaging the economies of both sides.

It wont be on the grounds of "Only" immigration. Another nonsensical straw man argument. It is interesting how people like you look upon immigration as a racist issue. it is what has enabled labour to silence debate on their own open border policies that have caused this crisis.

Immigration isn't about race. They don't want to block people based on their colour or race, or even their nationality (which isn't racism anyway). They want to block them based on other factors, or to block them regardless of all factors.

The establishment is pretty much out of ammunition barring shrieking 'racism' over and over to make the immigration and EU issue go away, even though both concern the electorate and are positions now being aped by the Tories, and in part, the lib dems.

This piece of bitter nastiness is a good example:

Of course Ukip won't condemn its racist new partners, because Ukip is the cult of Nigel Farage - Telegraph

The issue is increasingly irrelevant MSM trolls and politician-trolls, like Umunna, are going to be ignored more and more, for the better. They can keep stamping their feet and yelling 'racism', but it's just transparently pathetic smear. The EU will no doubt keep the fear mongering up the more it perceives its parasitic presence in the UK to be at threat.

That smear of all objections worked for Tony B'Liar who quadrupled net immigration.... I wonder why people are upset.

So you're a supported of far right parties or would like to explain why that article is wrong?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
