Just because it's a death chamber doesn't mean that they couldn't have brightened it up a bit. Some nice bright colours, a sofa, some scatter cushions, a few paintings on the walls and a nice rug on the floor would make it a much nicer environment to be killed in.England's greatest sailor since Nelson lost the armada.Comment

There's something completely creepy about having assembled audience of peers the other side of the glass to watch an execution.
