Ramirez: "From the dawn of time we came; moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering; when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... until now."
"There can be only one"

Kurgan: "I have something to say! It's better to burn out than to fade away!"Comment

One of my favourites is Sergeant Hartman's rant at the start of Full Metal JacketOriginally posted by LisaContractorUmbrella View PostJust been listening to Vangelis on Spotify and Rutger Hauer's final speech from Blade Runner was played just after the theme - it's only short but I think it's one of the most memorable scenes from any film ever "I have… seen things you people wouldn't believe… Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like tears… in... rain. Time… to die…"

Quint's "Anyway we delivered the bomb."
Legend has it he muffed it a few times (drunk) and was seriously pissing off Mr Spielberg. Pleaded to do one more (sober) go, was done in one take.
qhHe had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.
I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

The final scene from Dr Strangelove (1964) is a classic
Mein Führer I Can Walk!!!
I had always assumed he was based on Prof Edmund Teller, but according to a biography of Hugh Everett I recently read, The Many Worlds of Hugh Everett, he was actually mostly based on a nutter called Herman Kahn.
