As to the Alice Gross situation I think most parents would take the view since she was 14, she was old enough (in normal circumstances, i.e. didn't come across some predatory murderer) to take care of herself so didn't need supervision. While it's true that all kids mature at different rates it's obvious that at 3 ish the McCanns eldest child needed supervision so abandoning her and her younger siblings was selfish, willful child neglect.Last edited by TykeMerc; 2 October 2014, 09:34.Comment

I see they are going to crack down on McCann hating trolls, perhaps Churchill and TykeMerc will be changing their tunes soon lest they get a chap on the door

Leaving a kid is a bad idea but it's unreasonable to make that decision based on fear of kidnappers, rather than the likelihood the kid might hurt themself or wander off. That level of paranoia leads to never doing anything.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

There's something missing from this thread of accusation and counter accusation, attack and defence of the parents.
I know, it's that thing that cannot be taught but needs to be learned.
Common sense.Comment
