Right so you saying that for the Yes vote to win you would require it to gain 60% of the vote ?Originally posted by Unix View Post10+Comment

This is a cracking article:
Scottish referendum vote-rigging claims spark calls for recount | Politics | The Guardian
My favourite excerpt:
“If there is even the slightest bit of doubt about vote rigging I want it to be fully investigated,” wrote Catriona Zappert from Glasgow of her reasons for signing the change.org petition. “I can’t believe the yes vote was so low, please recount and confirm the results are accurate or I cannot rest.”Comment

Of 32 areas, 4 voted YES. Pretty emphatic.Originally posted by Unix View Post5 point swing in it, hardly a decisive win.
And it was only a 5 point swing because he twisted the voting to allow children to vote. What were the results if we exclude them (real question, is this data available)?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Areas are irrelevant in a simple majority. It's about the totals, if we exclude them then we can exclude OAPs who might be senile.Originally posted by d000hg View PostOf 32 areas, 4 voted YES. Pretty emphatic.

Then stop banging on about how "Scotland's biggest city voted YES" as if that's reelvant, you hypocrite.Originally posted by Unix View PostAreas are irrelevant in a simple majority. Still waiting on that data break-down. What % of the total turnout were <18, and how did they vote?Last edited by d000hg; 23 September 2014, 08:52.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
