There will be no CU. It makes no economic or political sense for the RUK.
We can use the pound or the Euro or the wee-Eck but if you really think that after a Yes vote the RUK is going to go 'oh fine' we were only kidding. Then you really are deluded.
Vote Yes - but do it with an understanding that there will be no CU. Don't kid yourself it's going to be painless. It isn't.Comment

I hope the jocks vote no, because i believe in strength in an uncertain and dangerous world.
If they dont vote No, I hope to h*ll they vote yes. because that way we get rid of 50 odd socialist MP's, the greens and a bunch of self confessed freeloaders.
any other result would be inconceivable imho(\__/)

I think TM said it best when he explained that a CU is in the best interests of both sides. If rUK says no then fine but they will be punishing themselves too.Last edited by Batcher; 10 September 2014, 16:22.Comment

Your assertion that it makes no economic sense is just plain bollocks.
Butting a barrier up to your second biggest export market, and a pretty big import market is a good enough reason, forget the balance of payments issues that the rUK will have. That would be political suicide for the rUK prime minister or chancellor. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

No-CU will allow the RUK to manage their own economy. We'll have to manage our own independent economy. We can still use Sterling, the Euro or the Twat, but we will not have a CU.Comment

Don't think the relative size is the issue here. Scotland buys billions of pounds worth of tulip from England, and vice versa. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment
