Nope, absolutely not. If they took that route, so that their members were practising the trade or profession of being a "contractor" (define that how you will) they would have to give their members' details to HMRC, so it was a very early decision not to do it.

Does it really matter? Nobody is going to refer to them as anything other than IPSE or "Them what was PCG" from now on.
Kinda defeats the purpose of a re-branding then don't it.
As an aside, I was struck by just how much the new logo looks like the one that they had when I were a member. I dread to think how much money they peed away on logo redesigns over the years. Quite glad that it's not my money anymore.
