Any views on the SEO hit you've taken?
If I google PCG it appears on the first page
If I google IPSE I can't find it
If I google, for example, PCG Membership, the top link is
https://www.pcg.org.uk/article-tags/pcg-membership
which takes me to an ipse 404
I assume all your other non-homepage search results do the same.
Edit: Some of the links do redirect properly.
e.g. https://www.pcg.org.uk/join
Looks like your article-tags ones are failingLast edited by mudskipper; 2 September 2014, 09:05.Comment

No, they got an agency in to do it.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostDo you think they used an independent professional?
I pointed out last night that the global search and replace of PCG to IPSE has resulted in numerous grammatical errors throughout the site as well, eg. "Alan has been a IPSE member since the early days..."
One might also question whether when you say "Alan has been a IPSE member since the early days..." does that mean since the early days of the PCG or since yesterday?Comment

Oh dear. First you do a global search and replace of "a PCG" with "an IPSE", being sure to preserve capitalisation of "A" and then you do a global search and replace of "PCG" with "IPSE". Of coursem, they could now change "a IPSE" to "an IPSE".Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostNo, they got an agency in to do it.

Rewriting of history here: History | IPSEOriginally posted by malvolio View PostI see www.ipse.co.uk is up and running now.
Not so much a case of standing on the shoulders of giants, much more like kicking them in the goolies and running away.

Give it another year or so, and then they can change the name. That way no-one can say "you've done nothing for a year" without absolutely being proved wrong.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Postnipsy gets a lot of hits. maybe another name change ?Comment
