Teachers off.
Some Union woman on the radio yesterday complaining that teaching assistant only get £10k a year. She had been to the Maggie Thatcher school of elocution, was really weird.
no one pointed out that that is for 2/3rds of the year with child friendly hours. I'm guessing about £10 an hour.
You wouldn't get that for working in a supermarket.Comment

I saw some firefighters on the picket line on the way back from dropping my daughter off at nursery and apparently all but 4 local schools are closed today.Comment
