IIRC - self service invoicing - always on the button. only had 1 contract with them.

Had 4 gigs through Hays.
Self-billing paid weekly.
No problems.

Like most pimp agencies, it depends on the actual pimp you get. Some care (a bit) and some couldn't care less.
