As mentioned you will never get an accurate picture as advertised rate usually has no relationship to offer rate, and also does not take into consideration the privately negotiated extensions etc which have a rate bump etc

is there anything for international? i.e. interested in looking at comparing europe's top end (switzerland/norway) with asia (tokyo, singa, hk).

Cost of living in Switzerland and Norway is higher, and the tax structure is different.

So you would have to have a cost of living index plus an average (median) take home pay percentage next to every country to do a proper comparison.

Of course taxes and cost of living varies by location - you can adjust for that in your head. there's also the lifestyle issue of working away from home but no need to discuss this either
