    Accenture - LOL

1 very well known investment bank I worked at hired them a few years back........they hired a totally inexperienced part time actress who was very photogenic & encouraged to wear skimpy clothes..........to con Traders into going along with a new system upgrade for Trading systems & dealerboard systems......the lady in question lasted about 8 months before she got busted as being totally out of her depth & more of an actress than a Trade Floor Project Manager LOL!

LOL, I've seen Accenture and Cap Gemini pull this trick with young, extremely attractive 'consultants'!

Hahah eight months isn't bad going - I've seen seemingly experienced contractors walked in less than a week.

Things still looking rather rough. 2 interviews didn't go anywhere (in both cases, being interviewed by methodology robots rather than anyone I could accurately describe as 'human').

Lots of tuppence ha'penny inside IR35 roles on the boards and not a lot else.

          5 months in now.

Getting to a point where you're hoping for the govt to announce some massive new BS policy so that a bit of work might come out of it.

There's a reason a lot of us don't get Accenture roles. Also I've worked alongside them - they seemingly only recruit attractive ladies in their 20s and no one says anything about it.

I have a years living expenses in the bank and whilst I would rather hang on to the cash I would rather burn through it than engage with month to six week hiring processes with five rounds of interviews.

I would accept a £400 a day contract just to weather the storm. I am regularly contacted about such roles but I don't think the (invariably Indian) recruiters are seriously looking.

It's gotten that bad that I've stopped getting crackly sounding calls about "jabappatunities" - or I've just blocked to many numbers

Many moons ago I was on an Accenture project, and ClientCo disliked them so much CTO ordered them all out the door, leaving me and one other guy left to pick up the pieces. I have alot of respect for the guy as they deserved it

I also got a contract, rolling monthly but it's outside IR35 and better than being on the bench
