            we already are, the market is almost as dead as COVID times, almost all contract interview processes are on hold indef

              But with the number of people arriving in the UK on Skilled Worker Visa's says otherwise.

              Or is it ploy by the employers to show they are not able to fulfill the role and then get cheap labour in?

                  The job I was supposed to start on 16 May is still dragging its heels. Two more potential clients sniffing around. Will take the one that is first to get a contract drawn up. All in different industries that I've not worked in before.

                    tempted to take a perm role, what would a perm role paying £100k tempted you away from? A £400 outside contract?

                      I lied about taking the first to offer I got an offer from one client and told them they'd have to wait while I finished talking to the other. Now waiting on the second client to make a decision.
