My wfh Inside gig is about to end but clientco wants to offer a 2 months extension.
The only thing that nags me is this contract has a 4 weeks notice period and they want to carry this on for the renewal too!
What do you do? I get loads of direct approaches on LinkedIn. I have 2 contracts going at the moment (1 fixed price and the other software & docs review work paid hourly).

Why would you think the terms would change? You've said it's an extension so the terms will continue. If it's going to change it's not technically a renewal of the old contract is it?

I am not happy about the 4 weeks notice. I can still turn round and say Goodbye as I am waiting for the paperwork.

Contract end coming up in Sept. Rates still look challenging.

Thought the economy was driving on all cylinders. What gives? Summer lull?

I worked on development of LIMS for GSK for a year before moving on to other contracts, looks like I should've kept my hand in
