They may find someone. I know in my space the bottom feeding agents are finding people for low(er) rates - just not ones I would employ personally.

Not my skillet but have you tried contacting the agent directly via phone or linkedin?

They're probably swamped in CV hell and just want to speak to someone.

Bypassing the ATS is also essential right now imho.

I would completely not pay the BBL (like many componies wont) but just be careful you can explain how you spent that money (salaries are fine) and why the company is now insolvent - If you have assets in the UK company you need to be careful to spend them properly before going insolvent
UK is going down the socialist route fast, dont blame you

Actually, in their adverts they are specifically telling people Not to call.

It has been a practice in times past to fire off a CV, and immediately follow up with a call. And now, I click, send, and await the non-noise of its landing in the ethereal.

If they say don't call, just fire off the CV and stop dreaming about it until a phone call arrives.

                  ^^ This.

ATS is the Devil's work. Particularly so when it's been badly implemented. One can try to make a CV ATS proof, but there's always another more incompetently deployed ATS out there.

jobs posted by joseph harry ltd

For the past several months this particular agency has been posting few jobs (10 today) everyday the rate are quite high for the current market.
Looks like fake jobs ads to me. Wondering if anyone had at least an interview through this agency.

I've seen 1 particular agency do this too. They posted like 3-4 high paying jobs a week, so just to pee them off I apply for all of them and email them to chase it up. They kept coming up with weird and wonderful excuses as to why I'm not suitable for the role (in the past the head recruiter there used to call me for every job that came on the market), so yeah...of course, every single advert was fake.
