Public sector is a good place to be at the moment. A bunch of us just got the nod for extensions into Q1 next year.

Sounds about right: mid-October, companies are already in Christmas mode and 2020 has been so cr4p they're all good and ready to call it a day for this year.

Finishing up my contract next month and the couple of times I've asked if an extension was on the table all I got was radio silence. I won't even ask anymore; all I'm doing at the moment is looking for a new role and preparing an handover for nobody as they're not replacing me. Happy days
