I know lots and lots of people who cannot get work and now it’s at the point where the tech/IT will be truly decimated with these new concessions ….why are questions not being asked …I cannot believe this has been agreed.
No NI madness… meanwhile rest
of us paying double the Ee and Er…you could not make this up….
Am off to contact my MP who is one of the current party leaders …not Labour …I actually feel like I’m living in a parallel universe this is unbelievable …pricing us out and the restComment

Ok, so this sounds like a scam of some sort but not quite sure what is being touted here.
Interview arranged with an agent for 1800 today. During the technical interview he was oddly asking me my previous salary and why I wanted to work for ClientCo.
Company is based in the US and is looking to build an international operation. RedFlag#1
The designated work is shared out amongst developers and everyone gets involved to complete the ClientCo clients work quickly and efficiently. I would be engaging, working and delivering software in accordance with this work.
There is also the opportunity to conduct interviews for which a bonus will get paid. These will be in addition to the existing monthly payments. RedFlag#2
Should I manage to win further work for the company, I will also be appointed a bonus. RedFlag#3
I will be expected to be working on multiple projects at the sametime, 5 or more is common and all work must be completed to the deadlines. RedFlag#4.
Apparently I am good enough to progress to the next interview which will be a deeper tech pair programming type.
Anyone got any ideas what this is all about?Comment

SchumiStars from what you have written it sounds like a similar borderline IT consulting half-scam (is it a ponzi, is it not a ponzi) that was ran out of a certain city in Asia about 10-15 years ago using some very suspect tax arbitrage. I wont name the company here.
I would also be very wary of any video calls right now that are involved with such a complex set of red flags that you are raising. Believe it or not there is plenty of deep fake related frauds happening now (did not take them long).

I get the impression that a big part of the job is find new work. This is done through hiring developers which have existing contracts. Not sure. But will be interesting to see what it is all about.
War Games, ITVX is worth a watch. Old film but really enjoyed it. The computer nerds were hilarious.
