Just contacted the hiring manager and he said that though my interview went very well but because of HR policy and to weight up my application they have to see few more people. I also mentioned that i will be good fit for his team.
I might have blown my chances by contacting the client but I happy to know where I stand and can line up some interviews in case i don't get the job.Last edited by sdyson31; 12 April 2016, 13:32.Comment

Hopefully you've learned your lesson now though.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

It's fairly common not to hear back straight away. Very difficult to judge someone in an interview so often interviewers will wait until they've seen all candidates before they decide. Some interviewers may decide there and then you're the candidate but that is the exception.I'm alright JackComment

Always hard when waiting for feedback but ultimately you should always be looking for new roles until you have a reviewed and signed contractComment

Just bumping as I am in a similar situation. Had a strong interview & 2 technical test's in Financial Services client 1 week ago. The client specifically told me they would provide feedback within 2 days at the very latest as they need someone to start in 2 weeks & it takes time to prepare the contract & get it signed off internally @ a senior level etc etc. Nothing came back from them & I detect the agency is not keen to hassle them at all. I am keen to know either way though as I do not wish to have my time wasted when I am juggling with another similar potential role.
Rate is the same for all candidates. Only 5 of us to chose from all via the same agency. You would think the agency is keen to know as well.....! The recruiter is very junior I do not think he has been in the role long judging by his linkedin profile he used to work in a retail position!!
I have the hiring manager's direct email & direct phone number from goggle!! If the agency do not get back to me soon I am going to email the hiring manager directly. As it appears the role is either on hold or not progressing or some other shenanigans I do not see what difference it makes as the role looks like it will not materialise anyway. I will update here for LOL's just for future reference!!Comment

The agency will be busy working on getting contractors in to either gig's. He knows chasing it won't make a blind of difference to the outcome so he's busy working on other opportunities, as should you be.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment
