    disagree
So, you disagree that the pound collapsing 23% against the dollar has anything to do with it?

    Wow.

A barrel of oil was £69.015 in August 2013 (based on your figures)
Today, it’s £83.846, again based on your figures.

And you’re denying that £14.831 is a big part of the problem?

No problem with your countrymen exercising their civic rights.

They probably realised that eastern Europeans would undercut other migrants, have a read round the Gate Gourmet case. I saw one lot of poor including those from India replaced by eastern europeans because they were cheaper and not unionised.

              • The average full-time salary in the UK fell 0.6% to £31,285 in 2021
So much for Eastern Europeans undercutting salaries.

Since freedom of movement has ended everyone has got decidely poorer, with wage rises below inflation and tax rises.

hmm looks like it has nothing to do with Brexit except pay rises have been reduced since 2005

....and inflation adjusted, even before the energy crisis began in February ?

In real terms (adjusted for inflation), total pay and regular pay for September to November 2021 are showing minimal growth at 0.4% and 0.0%, respectively.

Inflation has been increasing in recent months, causing real pay growth rates to decrease

well that is because Russia one of the world's biggest oil producers is being sanctioned and Ukraine one of the world's biggest grain supplier sis being shelled plus every company is trying to claw back to profitability post covid. Either that or as above the USA should never have left the EU.

If you look at the report.

The Russian sanctions were imposed in February and March 2022.
