no having vaccinated nearly double the percentage of the EU was a large prize of freedom.Originally posted by Eirikur View Post
A small price for freedom, innit?
Wages rising because they are no longer being undercut is another large prize.

Not entirely true if broken down to single countries. Hungary has a slighter higher vaccination rate than the UK. However, it has nothing to to with the EU.Originally posted by vetran View Post

Take into account the drop in value of GBP, UK wages have dropped.

Not quite, the vaccination rate is around 50% in the EU vs 60% in the UK. The UK has by far the highest infection rate in Europe. The UK is currently a no go zone.Originally posted by vetran View Post

Well first having the highest dead toll per 1 million was a price worth to pay for freedom and vaccinations? Initially yes, but now the EU has moslty caught up and allow travel between most of them whereas the UK is on their red listOriginally posted by vetran View Post

I don't care anyway. I have a dual sim phone and my other sim is paid for by my employer... "Oh", say the director in charge of these things, "My kids watched netflix for a month tethered to my phone when we were holidaying in Europe".

https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations
The UK has the highest testing rate
2.4 million uk 740,00 Germany.

if you don't test for it you don't know how many infections you have.
It does smell like a political decision to avoid the UK for people with brain cells!

The UK states the proportion of the adult population. That's a big difference.
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-55274833
In the UK 44 million have received one dose, 64% of the population, 32 million have received two doses.
In Germany 44 million have also received one dose that is 55% of the population. 28 million have received two doses.

The figures I posted reflected that that would be the 64.35% in UK quoted against the 48.3% across the EU . As usual you are trying to deflect the EU's failure.Originally posted by MasterBates View Post

It is fair to proclaim 82% of UK Adults are vaccinated as few children are being vaccinated anywhere because advanced age is a very serious risk in Covid. From your link.
Nice to cherry pick stats across the EU, note France have managed 48.6% Spain 52.03% Poland 43.6% (21% down from the UK). You will note the curves are far steeper because they took a while to get going. The rollout has expanded after the UK government hit its target of offering a first jab to everyone in the top priority groups - all those over the age of 50, plus those in high-risk categories by mid-April. These groups account for 99% of coronavirus deaths so far.
The government plans to vaccinate all over-18s with a first dose and two-thirds of adults with a second dose by 19 July.
A decision to vaccinate all 12 to 17-year-old children is unlikely to be recommended by UK vaccine experts imminently, the BBC has been told.
Where are the EU countries in this graphic from your link? Hungary made it to number 10 despite the EU, where are Germany & France? The EU countries are behind Chile, Mongolia & Uruguay
. Even the United states of Trump did better than the EU throughout.

So using the figures you agree with the fact the Germans have injected 10% less of the population than the UK? They have only just started to catch up.
Seems pretty conclusive.
Like all remoaners MB & "Having a paddy" don't understand statistics. I'm not desperate to find positives about leaving the EU two glaring great ones were posted and verified against data. As usual you are too obsessed with sneering to realise the figures you posted prove you wrong, even Assgoo would understand.
