Huge imbalances in Europe? What would these be then?

I'd be shocked and stunned beyond words if Europe follows the uneducated Brexit/Trump brigade. They're just not that stupid to plunge Europe into a divided society and give hate filled loons a platform. (Brexiter's orgasm overload scenario). The history of hate is evident for all to see across Europe, no one is going to repeat that. I see the UK and the US alone on this protectionist road trip to be honest.

Yes the EU is not perfect, it is a work progress. Few deny that. I find the whole terrorism argument repugnant considering the humanitarian situation, which the UK foreign policy has had a significant hand in. That's just right-wing click bate and people fall for it. As Many UK Deaths Caused By Bees As Terrorism, Watchdog Finds I'm fairly certain if the UK kept it's nose out of Lybia we'd not have thousands drowning in the mediterranean trying to reach Europe.

You do know 30% of people in the EU want out don't you?

And you know that it's nothing to do with hate, you just like to regurgitate your sensationalist Daily Mirror language.

And as for protectionism. We are the ones looking to the world stage. It's your shambolic heroes that are all looking inward to Brussels, mainly because Brussels say they have to. Afterall, you all do what you are told, don't you?

So you don't think it has anything to do with the endless miles of unpatrolled coastline coupled to a relatively short crossing to mainland europe that renders LIBYA a great vantage point for people traffickers then?
It is all down to the "UK's nose" is it?

And the EU is a "work in progress"? Yeah right, just like the Titanic was a "work in progress".

I read many papers Guardian, independent, FT, Daily Mail. It gives a rounded perspective.

EU is not a happy place.

          http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politic...endum-36471989

The EU government can either listen and respond to the unease over unemployment (especially youth unemployment), massive migration (they are not all refugees from Syria), rapid and I mean rapid cultural change, freedom of capital from around EU-Amsterdam-Dublin-Cayman Islands, etc, or it can just turn the screws on dissent. Now personally, this is why I voted leave. The EU could be fantastic, but the structure, and the arrogance of the approach it is taking is spine chilling. Rather than listening and addressing concerns it just mocks and ridicules these, pure hubris.

We got stuck into Lybia to avoid a humanitarian disaster in Benghazi. Granted a power vacuum was left.

What's your point, inside outside, or a minute of the two; there are lots of different ways of being. The monolithic EU is just one way, it's not right, wrong, or the only way. Just one way.
