Hilarious. We want it all the best bits that we have today, we demand to leave Europe, we demand a hard Brexit, and we don't want to be any worse off. It's our human right. As an affluent remainer who will be least hit by a hard or sift Brexit, I almost want it all to go tulip just to teach Brexiters a lesson in simple economics.

We are no longer the colonial powerhouse that can dictate how people trade with us. We are what we are, a small island whom the rest of the world despises.

The relevant issue is how much it has fallen against the dollar since that is the currency that global trading is mostly conducted in.

Keep an eye on oil prices, if those go up, inflation will rocket since virtually every product relies to some extent on oil.

Oil prices are going up. OPEC agreed to produce less about 2 weeks ago. They had been fighting amongst themselves before that which is why oil was cheaper for a while.
