I see I bailed a little early. I could be another 700 quid up right now.

Don't beat yourself up. Nobody can call tops and bottoms 100%. if you get out of a position with a profit than that's more than half the job done. There will always be other opportunities.

Would have been a grand now! Sadly I woke up at around 2.30ish and opened my laptop. If I'd slept through to now id have been laughing

Seems a strong run though. Was expecting a bit of a blip today. Be surprised if next two days are strong, very surprised.

Managed to call the bottom on Hlencore though. Just not the top.

If this was a short term punt 4K is pretty good.

Overall including my 400 quid day trading losses in September and Glencore, which is still a grand down I'm 500 quid up

Mission accomplished...waded in after closing day trading positions when I realised the market was crashing and it could turn into armageddon. I'm particularly pleased about erradicating the day trading losses

But great learning exercise getting caught out with an unexpected rout. I will be better prepared next time or maybe go for more medium term bets holding shares. Certainly rethinking the short term trading.
