Met my MP at the weekend, he's since confirmed that he's meeting Catherine McKinnell this evening.Comment

MP meeting last Friday
Had a more positive session with my MP than the previous time we met last September, when he was entirely non-committal. He was very interested in David Gauke's quotes from the original 2008 Finance Bill Committee and certainly seemed happy to exert some influence (as a senior Tory) in favour of the amendment. Will update Whitehouse with more details.Comment

MP
Just received a very kind response straight back from my MP, Richard Fuller. He is following up today. Very impressed by his speed of response and that he was prepared to take action at such short notice. Feeling a little better about politics for once!Comment
