I'm not saying we are definitely going to lose in the end, its just that I want to regain some control over events. Having 28 days to scrape together six figures isn't having any control.....
exactly - I have a family to think about and the least they can expect from me is to try and keep them housed! So if I contact them it will not merely speed up their attempts to come after me? That is my main concern..

Just so people get a feel for numbers, I'm fighting on, no way will I be giving in at this point. I "owe" (not) 6 figures so this isn't trivial.
Wanted people to feel that there is still a solidarity here. I wasn't expecting this judgement but I still think we will win in the end because we just are in the right.

10% off my bill would be 30k. I am up for 300k.

Agree - I would like to know exactly where I stand, exactly how much I owe (it's never very clear to me) and when/how I might have to pay it, and what options I might be able to ask for.
That way, I can start planning & making arrangements if, and only if, we lose subsequent rounds.

Can't see how. They have to follow a process. The CN's have been appealed so whilst they are in this state they can't do anything. Do you really want to try and sort something out when they have given you 28 days to pay up? Not me.

                no fat lady yet

hey guys, I know this is a set back but try not to think its the end of the world. As MP have always said they will appeal all the way regardless including ECHR. This isnt over yet, and as someone said, if we had won this round then HMRC would have appealed anyway.

It is only money and the worst case its bankruptcy which is now discharged quite quickly compared to the old days...

300k? What did you spend it on? I'm jealous.

As I understand personal bankruptcy tends to include a financial settlement including all your assets - doesn't that include your home or am I naive?
