This is very confusing. If the scheme started in 2001 and the first tax returns were investigated for that year in 2003, why the heck with MTM continue allowing new members to join (like Brillopad in 2006) without warning them they would be investigated?
Surely, once a scheme is being investigated the risk is greatest to the contractor, until the operation is proven legit.Comment

I am going to montpelier London office today to find out about the new scheme that started this year - and discuss some other stuff. I doubt the old scheme will come up - not much point...Comment

Its also worth noting that some members apparently have paid the Montpellier fees, whilst others don't pay until the investiagtions are closed - some 5% ? - Its as if they new t might failComment

been thinking about our situation and had a bit of a reailty check. Now its starting to calm back down I realised that I for one have always expected this to happen and we have known all along HMRC would challenge it. So it shouldnt really come as a surprise and reason to panic. We have to let nature take its course now...Comment
