    No DR or Santa?

Not see the main men on here for a few days...have they gone on holiday together? I wonder if things are happening in the background

      Timescales

      Relative timescales for me:
Day 1 - Notice of APN.
Day 13 - APN letters received
Day 54 - Withdrawal notice received
I am on day 46 since APN received, has anyone got an APN over 6 weeks old?

Let's hope nobody had already sold their house in order to pay an APN which was subsequently withdrawn.

Or simply paid the APN, for that matter

My APN is about 12 weeks old, so just 4 weeks to go...

Mine is also over 6 weeks old. And the bulls**t circular from Montp wasn't any help. I sent them my APN's when I received them. Where's the JR letter I need to send to HMRC?

It's still better getting comms from MontP compared to some of the other scheme providers who have disappeared.

I've had the usual APN warning letters, then actual APN letters, for a handful of years 2005+. Duly sent off to MontP for info.

This weekend an HMRC brown-lope hits the mat containing a notice of withdrawal for each of the APNs just raised. No explanation, just a simple and short apology.

                  Anyone else receive withdrawals?
                  in my dreams

also on this i feel we need a bit more guideance about possible penalties - as there was much previous discusion about if you do the last step mp say - that you are STILL eligble for up to 15% penalites which i feel they should throw into the pot so people can make an informed decision

In addition I would like to know how they can legally enforce a penalty on you when they haven't posted the penalty notices recorded delivery. There is every chance some will be lost in the post so people won't receive them.
