The umbrella is unlikely to issue a KID, however we do always issue an illustration (same kind of thing but not the government format), so that people can see the deductions based on their actual rate. Always ask for a calculation before you start with the brolly.Comment

With this particular case that the OP posted about, this seems to me to be more a case of the agency/client not being clear, treating the client's budgeted rate and the pay rate as the same thing and then lumbering the umbrella with the bill because that's who their employer according to the contract of employment is.
