You can resize the post edit boxes. Pretty cool, but makes a right mess of CUK.
That's a WebKit feature, so you can already do that with Safari
I can't be bothered to fire up a Windows VM until I've upgraded the hard drive on the MacBook - I got a disk full error earlier and had to restart to get the page file down to size
That's what comes of keeping a laptop running for 28 days, I suppose. (I think the record with this machine has been something like four months between restarts.)
I'll upgrade the disk tomorrow and give Chrome a good workout - I anticipate it being a hot topic of conversation at dConstruct on Friday
He means the resizing of <textarea> elements. If you look, there's a little resize handle at the bottom right corner; it's handy on those sites that give you a ridiculously small field by default.

Aha, I just realised that as I saw your comment - I must be getting slow in my old age That is a handy feature.

Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?
Dammit - only have Mac OSX and Linux at home - the Win Lappy is at clientco. Expect a full report chaps - and agree with Ardesco - very happy to have potentially more X-browser development revenue.

Any word on when a Unix-based beta will be out?
They stated at the launch (according to the liveblogging I was following) that they have a lot of internal pressure to get the non-Win versions out ASAP - many people at Google don't use Windows, so their colleagues are nagging them about this
Larry Page also mentioned that during development he has been using it personally on a really old and slow machine, as a way of keeping up the pressure on the developers to make it faster
Apparently they have made a few upstream changes to the WebKit codebase, but they are working with the WebKit team on getting these integrated back into the trunk.
Everything they had to say seemed (IMHO) to indicate that they're serious about the open-source aspect of this project, so expect to see improvements achieved by the Google folk turning up in Safari, Firefox, and in fact just about every other browser, except the lonely furrow called Microsoft Internet Explorer
Are you going to be at Google Developer Day, RH? I would imagine there'll be a fair amount of focus on Chrome at that

LOL. When will people ever learn? Keep telling yourself "It's not just a badge, my Mac is better. It's not just a badge, my Mac is better."
