    Chrome really slow

Anyone else find Google Chrome is really slow recently? Uses up 17% CPU sometimes. Seems ok sometimes and I think it's fixed and then it goes back to really slow again. I've tried every tip on the internet, apart from reinstalling, and nowt works.

    Cheers

Close the pornhub tabs when you are browsing the web. Sorted.

Yer right! Those enormously fat ladies I keep looking at must really be blocking my internet connection!

Seriously, seems all right again now, but expect will be carp again tomorrow. Only Chrome that's iffy, other browsers ok.

There's a special Chrome function you can run to see a task manager style breakdown of what internal threads are using CPU:

How to Use Chrome’s Built-In Task Manager
Don't believe it, until you see it!

Cheers. I already tried that and only Chrome itself and its GPU process showed any significant use. Mostly the first.

Seems ok again for the moment.

Yeh, Windows 10. Not Windows 95 Dim!

It's working fine speedwise again at mo.

There's one in Opera: shift Esc.

                    Well there's a thing.

                    Or a task manager.

                    Who'd have thunk it?
