          What is VDSL? Webopedia

VDSL is currently going through a standards issue, so it isn't widely deployed yet.
But of course as it wasn't in your original spec that you were using a rare type of connectivity I should have somehow interpolated this.

It has been defined in standard ITU-T G.993.2 finalized in 2005
As used in BT infinity aka FTTC and available via resellers since 2011.

Would your line be capable of running VDSL2, or would you prefer to opt for the slower VDSL?
