I'll keep an eye on this thread but unlikely I can make it
. Got one weekend written off in Dec already and working away during the week has severely curtailed the number of weekends I can be away from the family, particularly in that month I am afraid.

It seems possible that I might be coming down to London for an afternoon Christmas Event at ClientGov on the 7th, meaning I'd be in urgent need of strong drink and non-governmental company by the evening

New clientCo has a do on the 7th - sounds like they're planning a lunch but I'm not sure if that lunch is just going to be the start of a messy day or if they're all really sensible people who will go back to work after a couple of hours drinking OJComment

And I've also been invited to see my client for lunch on the 7th, so evening of the 7th definitely works for me. More to the point, it's costing me a fortune going up and down to London over the next few weeks, so I probably won't go back after the 7th!Comment

Sounds like I ought to find somewhere in That London for the 7th.
