OK it's been a week now... How many day's have you used the excuse that you were snowed in only to spend more time with your Mac?
This is a tender time in the transformation process, the MS way of achieving tasks will still take priority but soon you realise you don't have to restart, no an update is not required, and yes you job is done a lot sooner...

How did this 8 page thread not manage to descend into a Windows/Mac holy war?
But congrats on the Mac purchase, you won't regret it (although my personal preference is a Macbook with a decent Dell monitor - I have a nice 27" screen). New 13" Macbook Pro on the cards for me at the end of the month...just waiting for the expected spec bump.

I am a Machead, on my 24"-er now, gonna replace it with a 27" when the bugs have been ironed out - cracks in screens and all sorts of video breakups I read....
I bought this day one and had issues, locking up - eventually solved but I had three months of not-very-good-usability. GFX firmware, apparently Apple overclocked the GPU, they declocked it with an update and everything has been perfect since.
24" 2.4 Dual, 1TB HDD, 4gb RAM, boxed with all manuals and media - I am box freak! Twenty quid?
