The car earlier was a VW Golf GTi, albeit in its American incarnation. And then the cycling was back so I abandoned the telly and instead mucked about with a project that involves learning React JS, which I've never used before. Got an OpenLayers map working in it, so it can't be that hard

Then yet another police programme whilst dining. There can hardly be a force left in the country that isn't dependent on funds from letting a C5 film crew tag along with them. This one was Lincolnshire, and was so underwhelming that I ended up largely ignoring it after I'd finished eating in favour of Googling for open source (or at least free) UK geographical datasets to play with

In the interests of freezer clearance, I had fish fingers and chips for dinner.

Fitbit says I have done 26k steps and walked 13.5 miles today. I hope I don't ache too much in the morning as I have to get up for a 9am meeting with a potential client.

Tea has been sausages, chips and beans

I've got a bit of a glut of sausages in the freezer, so thinning them out is no bad thing. Lots of bacon in there too that needs to be dealt with

As the flat was equidistant between Ealing Broadway and Hangar Lane, I went out to Ealing Broadway via the District Line and then to Notting Hill from Hangar Lane on the Central, thus incorporating an assessment of the public transport offering at the same time.

Sunshine and showers is the worst weather. Baking in the sun, drowning in the rain.

The two flats over Notting Hill way weren't any good. The one in Ealing feels too big! Two more tomorrow, this time near Gunnersbury station.

This afternoon I have a flat viewing in Ealing followed by two more up Paddington / Notting Hill way. I'm not sure I've allowed enough time to get from Ealing to Padders but I'll do my best!
