The incessant repeats of US borders and NZ policing were largely ignored this afternoon. This evening, the latest episode of Surgeons was about emergency surgery, which was quite interesting; and then a few more old episode of 24 Hours in A&E

The bed linen was brought in around 4pm. Slightly damp but mostly dry. The duvet cover never went out on the line and was draped over the airer instead.
I never did any gardening out the front.

It's come over all grey and the wind is up. However, the rain risk has passed in favour of it raining all day tomorrow instead.
Some bed linen is on the line, some is in the WM. I am not hopeful that all linen will dry outside today.

Blue sky, wispy fluff. Currently 18 degrees and that's the high for the day. Rain forecast early evening. Barometer down to 1009 mBar.
Bed has been stripped and is airing. Linen is in the WM.
Some faffing to tidy up the front garden will happen today. Although I have decided I'll just get a man that can in to do the bulk of the work.

S’murky out. Might make a trip to the tip and one to Screwfix before gardening.

Morning denizens
A good night's sleep having been had, I have awoken to a sunny day with some high, thin, hazy cloud hotter and yon. It's already fairly warm at 15°C and heading for 18° this afternoon, while the barometers are down a touch at 996/1004mB

Morning.
Sunday.
Grey.
Wanly sunny.
Blue sky in some very small parts.
Chilly in here at 15 deg, ditto the kitchen & leanto.
1003 mBar, 29.62 in Hg, 752.3 Torr, 14.55 psi, (down from 1005 last night), 77% RH (GDR hair), 71% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 25th of September 2019 the assembled congregation wished WTFH well on his medical excursion, whereas I avoided getting wet on the trip to town & back.
Lunch: beans on toast etc.
Entertainment: It's a fair cop: theft & the like, plus shouting "porridge" through someone's letterbox at 03:00.
Book.
Tea: soup etc.
Entertainment: book.
Walking through history with Baldrick: Stonehenge followed by King John's Ruin.
Beyond Skinwalker Ranch: Bradshaw Ranch. A Tunnel found by a magnetomete dangling from a drone. Curious no fly zone for drones in the middle of nowhere. Or something.
Curse of Skinwalker Ranch: The Watchers. Who watches The Watchers when they're watching?

Today saw the usual run of wildlife stuff on the box, including new Monkey Life
And this evening, I've read a few more chapters of The Illusionist
Early night now so I can make the most of having two whole days of rest - probably by resting

For tea tonight, I finally got around to ordering stuff from the tandoori place round the corner on the shopping street. It's about as far away as the other Chinese was from the old flat, so I wasn't going to be so lazy as to have it delivered, and ambled round to collect it instead. Very nice evening for an amble, it turned out
As for the food: well, that was extremely good. The place was busy with people eating in, and it certainly deserves to be popular. The onion bhajis alone were amazing, and everything else I got was really nice too
