I too watched several episodes of Secrets of the London Underground but I've only watched up to episode 3, about South Kentish Town and the control centre.
Just had a look at my weather app to see if it's warm out or I'm just having a hot flush and saw that there's rain forecast overnight.

No further telly tonight, not even transmitted by bedbugs, but I managed to read a chapter or so of a book about Swift (the programming language, not the satirist)
Goodnight all

Re crawling into bed, wonder how long it will be before cameras are so tiny that perves wil be able to attach them to bedbugs?

Tea has been pork cutlet with chips and beans
That was accompanied by the latest episode of Secrets of the London Underground which was mainly about various aspects of the Victoria line
And earlier today, I got around to leaving the mattress to air, so the bed has now been remade - a process which I found sufficiently knackering that I'm about ready to crawl into it

Ominous rumblings from senior management, suggesting that the project may not be cancelled after all!
It almost works now though. It'll be a close run thing to get it into production ahead of an external hard deadline, but only because so many people are on leave in August and September that we've had to push the start of the necessary transition period back to early October

Laundry has been done and is out in the garden sunning itself. It's probably dry by now as I put it out about 3 hours ago.

Morning all
Sunny with high level fluff. Currently 19 degrees with a high of 27 expected. Barometer up a snifter to 1008 mBar.
I managed to lose my shopping list yesterday (as in, I know I accidentally chucked it in the bin with real rubbish) and I can't remember all that was on it so that must mean I didn't need it all. In checking the prices of what I do remember needing, I can see that Waitrose has some of the more awkward to get home items on at the same price as Morrisons so I think I'll pop there for those, as it's only 15 mins walk away, and then get the bus to Morrisons for the rest.
Tanqueray 10 is also on offer at Waitrose. I don't "need" that but it's rude to not buy it when it's under £30. They seem to have taken over that offer from Sainsbury's.

Morning.
Tuesday.
Dry.
Grey.
Wanly sunny.
Cool in here at 21.4 deg, 23 deg in the kitchen, 21 deg in the leanto.
1002 mBar, 29.589 in Hg, 751.56 Torr, 14.533 psi, (down from 1003.5 last night), 71% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 1st of November 2019 it was dark & raining on LM, there was more discussion of "I, Claudius" (I still have neither read it nor watched the box set), but I did score a zen chury.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.
Lunch: baked spud etc.
Entertainment: Y&Y <click>.
Lawn mowing this afternoon. I may be some time. But at least the sun isn't out.
Five lawns mown, then it started raining.
Entertainment: The Mentalist S6 E15, E16.
Tea: chicken in white sauce etc.
Entertainment: Scotland Yard "The ghost train murder".

Morning all
10C when we went out for our perambulation, which may also explain the better night's sleep.
Nice aurora last night, and a few meteor trails thrown in for good measure.

Morning denizens
Sunny start but with cloud that's expected to increase, and it's also expected to be a bit cooler today: currently 15°C, not getting any worse than 24°. The barometers are steady at 997/1005mB

The only telly tonight was an old Police Interceptors and it turned out I'd seen that one before too, so I hope they start making some new ones soon
Warm night, but the weather's going to be a bit more sensible about it for the rest of the week
Goodnight all
